i just wrote buddy cole, a.k.a. scott thompson, and it was the first outreach to a celebrity i have ever made, and i think will actually get there. I also written to Daniel Johnston, but i doubt he will receive my letter or write back...i am just excited to hear back from some of these living legends. I don't know what it is, or what people's fascination with other people is....
I know when i was younger, I was writing a punk magazine, usually called a zine, and i was sending all these interview questions to these punk bands that i never even met...i wasn't even old enough to go to their shows! But the ones that did respond, I thank, with all my being, giving a little kid a chance, answering his stupid questions may seem stupid, but you don't know what kind of impact that leaves on a 14 year old kid. I wasn't writing the president, my senator, or anybody like that, they don't mean shit to me, I was writing the people that moved me, that took their time to reach kids like me...that's the people i wanted to talk to, thats the people i wanted to be like if at all possible, that's the people that actually responded!
I am sad to see now, if you wanted to write a letter to some lame band on MTV, you would never get a response, or at least not an automated one. I find that amusing and disheartening at the same time...those are the kind of people that don't deserve fans....not that i should judge, but come on!
Thanks, if anyone reads this

error
wow, i didn't realize that you only get one shot at this....after a couple brews...my spelling doesn't work.....and spellcheck is bullshit. sorry for the errors on my last post...i know how you all hate that.
this is for fun
I was searching videos....my life is interesting.....but, not really....and I came across videos of the Tom Green, live show....amazing...to say the least...I have been a fan of Tom for a long time...people even used to call me Tim Green (the next tom green).....he really has inspired me....
Other inspiration has come from 'the kids in the hall,' one of my favorite all time t.v. shows. Monty Pythons, which I wouldn't be suprised if kids in the hall were influenced by them also. Some of the more recent include, Mr. Show, Upright Citizen Brigade, Curb your enthusiasm....things like that. I am open for comedy for these "groups" have opened my eyes to real world amusement.....some creativity that we greatly lack in our society. These are the genius's of my time, and no they didn't come up with the theory of relativity, but damn close....they came up with timeless humor that keeps me wondering how they do it....keeps in interested in why i do it, why we live.....
thank you.
